Konkurs Kobiecy Obraz Morza, III edycja

Morza i oceany są kluczem do przyjaznej i zrównoważonej planety. To nasze wspólne działania i rozwiązania, zarówno w zakresie nauki jak i wszelkich aktywności mogą przyczynić się do ochrony oceanów i utrzymania równowagi ekologicznej na Ziemi. Nazywamy to zrównoważonym rozwojem. Wysoka świadomość morska ma bezpośrednie przełożenie na nasz dobrobyt. Dbając wspólnie, łącząc ludzi i oceany możemy wspólnie dążyć do zrównoważonego rozwoju. Chcemy znać i rozumieć współczesne problemy środowiska morskiego, żyć w czystym i zdrowym środowisku, chronionym, odtwarzanym i zarządzanym świadomie. Wraz z otwartym dostępem do danych, informacji, rozwojem technologii i innowacji zaangażujmy się we wspólny cel – pracę na rzecz światowego Oceanu w takiej kondycji, która zagwarantuje korzystne warunki dla przyszłych pokoleń.

Ideą konkursu jest podniesienie świadomości morskiej, poprzez współpracę środowiska naukowego i twórczego. Liczymy na to, że poprzez sztukę zaangażujemy także jej odbiorców do wsparcia misji Dekady Oceanów. Chcemy zaprezentować kobiecy punkt widzenia tematyki morskiej, zarówno od strony naukowej, jak i artystycznej. Jesteśmy przekonani, że niebagatelny udział kobiet w promowaniu zmian społecznych, w powiązaniu z ich wrażliwością, pomogą nam w osiągnięciu tych celów. Sam pomysł projektu, a docelowo wystawy , który chcemy rozwijać, wziął się z obserwacji – pomimo tego, że od wielu lat kobiety prowadzą samodzielne i ambitne badania naukowe na morzu, opowiadanie o morzu należy wciąż do mężczyzn. Literatura, film, popularyzacja pełne są obrazów, gdzie elementy takie jak walka o przetrwanie, niezłomność, siła wobec żywiołu są kluczowymi elementami opowieści.

Artystka, zwana dalej Uczestniczką, wykona dzieło inspirowane wybranym zagadnieniem naukowym. Są to tematy realizowane przez polskie badaczki morza. Serdecznie zachęcamy by łączyć oba te światy poprzez bezpośredni kontakt artystki z naukowczynią. Pomożemy Wam spotkać się osobiście lub online, tak by między artystką a naukowczynią powstała nić porozumienia, która stanie się osnową konkursowej pracy.

Dzieło plastyczne może być w dowolnej technice (lub fotografia dzieła) mieszczące się w ramie 70 x 100 cm na wybrane i zatwierdzone zagadnienie. Aby się zapisać wystarczy wypełnić krótki formularz zgłoszeniowy na stronie (link na dole strony). Serdecznie Was zachęcamy by wśród technik i materiałów wykorzystanych w pracy znalazły się elementy które wyrażać będą działania na rzecz zrównoważanego rozwoju (np. użycie recyklingowych materiałów, skorzystanie z farb z odzysku, stworzenie dzieła cyfrowego, ograniczenie zużycia wody lub stworzenie jasnego przekazu związanego z zagadnieniem, itp.). Warto byście zawarły tę kwestię w krótkim opisie dzieła.

Wybrane prace konkursowe stworzą, wraz z pracami wyróżnionymi w pierwszej edycji, wystawę na poświęconej Kobiecemu Obrazowi Morza w Państwowej Galerii Sztuki w Sopocie.

Warunki uczestnictwa:

– Uczestnikiem konkursu może zostać tylko kobieta, która ukończyła 18 lat, studentka lub absolwentka wyższych uczelni plastycznych (Akademii Sztuk Pięknych i Uniwersytetów) i wydziałów o profilach artystycznych innych uczelni wyższych w Polsce i nie tylko oraz profesjonalna artystka zajmujących się sztuką zawodowo.

Nagrody

Przygotowaliśmy 10 nagród pieniężnych, po 2000 PLN (netto) każda, dla Artystek, których prace inspirowane zagadnieniami przedstawionymi przez badaczki zostaną wybrane przez Jury.
Przygotowaliśmy również 10 wyróżnień, które mogą zostać przyznane przez Jury.
Wybrane prace konkursowe stworzą, wraz z pracami wyróżnionymi w pierwszej edycji, wystawę na poświęconej Kobiecemu Obrazowi Morza w Państwowej Galerii Sztuki w Sopocie.
Reprodukcje wybranych prac artystycznych zostaną one przedstawione w cyfrowym folderze, stronach www i mediach społecznościowych.

Wybór zagadnień przedstawionych przez polskie badaczki morza

By zachować ciągłość numeracji uzyskanej na docelowej wystawie przedstawione zagadnienia stanowią kontynuację niewykorzystanych tematów z edycji 2022 i 2023 poszerzonej o nowe wątki.

W najbliższym miesiącu uzupełnimy jeszcze zagadnienia o nowe treści i dodatkowe naukowczynie! 🙂
